David A. Dahl

David is a Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of the Whittier Trust Companies of California and Nevada. He joined the firm in 1993 and his responsibilities include overseeing Portfolio Management, Client Administration, Real Estate and Operations.

 

David has more than 25 years of experience in asset management and client service. Prior to joining Whittier, David managed fixed income and equity portfolios for individual, foundation, Taft Hartley, and municipal clients for Merus Capital Management and Duff & Phelps Investment Management Company.

 

David earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of San Diego and his MBA from the University of Southern California. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) and a Certified Public Accountant.

 

David is past President and Governor of the Los Angeles Society of Financial Analysts. He has served on the boards of public and private technology, medical, oil and gas companies, and charitable organizations.
