Craig is a Senior Portfolio Manager and Senior Vice President in Whittier Trust’s San Francisco office, where he specializes in working with high-net-worth families, including their philanthropic foundations and DAFs, to create individually tailored investment portfolios.  These tailored solutions include fitting investments to estate planning vehicles and often incorporate sustainability and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors.

Before joining Whittier Trust, Craig spent 15 years at Alliance Bernstein LP as a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager, managing equity and fixed-income accounts for the mutual fund, Taft Hartley, insurance, and institutional clients. Earlier in his career, he worked as a fixed-income analyst and investment banker at Lebenthal & Co. in New York. Craig holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Colorado College and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and is a member of the CFA Society of San Francisco, where he served as the Co-Chair of the Investment Research Challenge for six years. In addition to his professional pursuits, Craig has also been involved in community service, previously serving as a member of the Investment Committee for URI.org and currently serving as a board member and Chair of the Investment Committee for the Walnut Creek Library Foundation.
