Lauren is a Senior Vice President and Client Advisor in Whittier Trust’s Orange County office. She has a wide range of experience and expertise in the trust and estate planning arena having been a practicing attorney focusing on Estate, Tax and Business planning. During her career, she has focused on family office services, multigenerational wealth transfers, investment management, real estate and philanthropy. Lauren serves a key role in orchestrating the client’s team of advisors including attorney, accountant and investment manager all working towards the same goal of perpetuating wealth and intergenerational transfers. Her experience and education enable Lauren to assist affluent families with complex estate plans and business succession planning.
In addition to her legal experience, previously, Lauren was a Director for Nationwide Insurance Company, Senior Vice President Private Client Advisor for U.S. Trust, Bank of America Wealth Management, Merrill Lynch and Escrow and Title Officer with First American Trust Company.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Capital University and her Juris Doctorate from Capital University Law School. Graduating with top honors, she was the Editor in Chief of the Law Review.
Lauren is affiliated with several professional organizations. She serves in various positions including Orangewood Foundation Board of Directors, Women of Chapman and Chapman University Executive Council. In 2005, she founded and was the first Executive Director of African Child Foundation, coordinating the construction of water wells and schools in Nairobi, Kenya.
In her spare time, she enjoys golfing and traveling with her husband and five children, two of which she adopted from Russia.
