Nick a Senior Vice President, Senior Portfolio Manager with Whittier Trust and leads the firms Seattle and Portland offices. As a Senior Portfolio Manager, Nick is responsible for helping establish the investment philosophy of the firm, and for the selection of individual securities and appropriate asset allocation ranges for client portfolios.

Prior to joining Whittier Trust, Nick held the role of Director, Investment Management at Tiedemann Advisors. Prior to that, he was a Senior Portfolio Manager at BMO Harris Private Bank and a member of the bank’s Global Asset Allocation Committee.

Nick earned his bachelor’s degree in International Political Economy from the University of Puget Sound and his MBA with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Washington. He holds the designation of Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®) and is a member of the CAIA Association.

Nick is heavily involved in the Northwest community and currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Seattle Public Library Foundation and the Investment Committee for The Mountaineers. Nick resides in Seattle with his wife and two sons.
