Paul is a Director for The Whittier Trust Company of Nevada.

Prior to joining Whittier Trust, Paul held the position of Senior Vice President, Regional Trust Executive, managing the trust groups of Washington, Oregon and Idaho at U.S. Trust Bank of America Private Wealth Management in Seattle. Before that, he held positions as Vice President, Regional Manager, Wealth Management, with Union Bank of California, as Vice President, Market Development at Northern Life Insurance Company/ING and as an attorney at the firm of Ryan, Swanson & Cleveland, all also in Seattle.

Paul earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Washington School of Law and his Master of Arts degree from the Professional School of Psychology. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Oberlin College. Paul currently serves as Treasurer and a member of the Executive Committee on the Seattle Arts and Lectures board. He also serves on the board of Seattle Philanthropic Advisors Network and is a past president and board member of the Corporate Trustees’ Association of Washington Bankers Association. Paul is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and of the Estate Planning Councils of Seattle, Tacoma and East King County.
